The Proper Care & Feeding of an American Mess
It's official -- the theatrical release title of "American Messiah" will be The Proper Care & Feeding of an American Mess.
The producer and I feel like it's a good link to the original (for marketing purposes) and still has a draw to get people into the theatre.
I'll post the new poster here when we are done with it. And release details, too, of course.

Good compromise!
Thanks, J. It seems like the simplest and most obvious choice, doesn't it?
Yea. Don't know why it didn't occur to me earlier.
Same here -- I'm still trying to remember how I came up with it, LOL. Someone suggested "The Proper Care & Feeding of Brian B." -- which I was seriously considering -- and the next thing I knew, I had this title in my mind. Can't remember what made me leap from one to the other.
Hmmm...sounds like a political mess. Oh! Like the one we currently have on our hands!
:)
What, you're not happy with the election results? ;-)

Judging by all the deleted comments, perhaps you are controversial, Chris. Good luck with distribution and Oscar nods!

Hi Todd,
Well, the deleted comments represent someone's idea of a joke, which I found to be in really bad taste, so I deleted it :-)
How are you and what have you been up to?
cjh
I *think* I suggested "The Proper Care & Feeding of Brian B." But I like the new title better. Hope that it pays off nicely for you.
Perhaps I'm the controversial one!
:)
Chuck -- thanks.
Yeatsgirl~ -- I'm sure you could be if you wanted to!
