As a fan of the consistently lowly Baltimore Orioles, the greatest I have been able to get from this season has been the Yankees' demise and Steinbrenner's subsequent meltdown
i don't blame you one bit. because i'm a yankee hater, despite growing up in NY, i wouldn't have minded seeing steinbrenner fire torre. it would have been undeserved and unfair to torre, who i think is a great manager, but it would have contributed to the yankee's being lousy, so i would have been happy.
shameful, i know.
